Formal charges have been brought against two men following a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be irritant spray resulted in harm at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

The charges follow an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.
